PLANT CAPABILITIES AT A GLANCE

Pellets: One of the first companies to set up a captive pellet plant producing cost-effective iron pellets from superior quality iron ore fines for both captive and commercial use.
Coal washery: The Plant has a coal washery that provides the finest coal for quality sponge iron, while the middlings generate electricity for captive use.
Sponge iron: Quality Sponge iron is produced from iron pellets and premium quality coal thereby ensuring high metallization.
Power: The Plant unit generates 24 MW of captive power from waste heat, washery rejects and middlings thereby reducing the fuel cost.
Ferro alloys: The Company has submerged arc furnaces that produce high quality Ferro Manganese and Silicon Manganese, used as inputs for steel making.
Billets: The Plant mills produce high-grade (Fe-500 and Fe-500D/ISI) billet through induction furnace and continuous caster route process. These billets are used in the production of both TMT bars and Structural Steel.
TMT bars: The Company has one of the most advanced automated rolling mills in the country engaged in the production of superior-grade TMT bars. MSP TMT Bars are manufactured using Turbo Quench technology, conforming to ISI specified Fe-500 and Fe-500D grades (IS 1786:2008) in accordance with our commitment to uphold quality standards.
Heavy and Light Structural Steel: MSP has a state-of-the-art Structural mill that churns out both heavy and light structural steel products - Joists, Beams, Channels and Angles-serving the global industrial base.
